Free sites to learn HTML
« on: September 23, 2011, 04:40:19 AM »
Hey guys, any good sites to learn HTML for free and if possible, does it make things easy? I'd like to build portions of my future site and I was wondering how hard or how easy it can be. So I'd like to learn HTML. Thanks for any info guys. :)

Great list Chris. I actually learned some HTML in college and on my spare time. It is one of the easiest forms of internet code to learn and it works wonderfully well. I was able to make decent looking sites only after learning about 3 weeks of code. It's great stuff.

W3 Schools is the best place I know of, as it's easy to understand and offers a way to test out what you have learned as you learned it.

I learned from W3. They have amazing guides and tutorials. Of course, you should invest into deeper study later on.

Code academy gives you project level discussions on all types of pragramming. Their interface is easy and completely amazing as it is easy to understand and freely usable. If, at any time, you feel confident enough with HTML, you can go forward to other programmes too!

Code Academy is a website I would strongly recommend for anyone wanting to learn HTML. I have used this website for over a year now and the amount that I have learnt just from using this website is over whelming. It works with you in stages and you can always go back to stages you are still unsure of to refresh your memory or even just have a little more practice to get better at each stage.
