Why is Ebay such a pain?
« on: October 07, 2011, 01:08:57 AM »
So I've been trying to get into Ebay recently and in all honesty I cannot stand it. They drain you of most of the money you make and it seems to be a total waste of my time.

I like ebay. Yes their fees are a little expensive, but if you can make a decent amount of money from it, it should be a major problem. But I don't sell on the site often as I don't find it appealing.

Ebay is also one of my trusted site in terms of online shopping and selling, but I may agree with you all that the shipping fee is quite expensive.

Just remember, zero insertion fees are your friend! That can cut down eBay's share quite a lot - you just have to be willing to wait until the offer!

Thats a good point my friend.
I got many buyers in my ebay shop who paid me with hacked paypal and ebay accounts.
So I lost my money because of the refund.

Best Regards,
Chris

I've never bought or sold anything on eBay ever. I read tons of articles and news reports about people being scammed on eBay. I'll rather not lose money than making a few pennies LOL

Hmm...seems like quite a a few people here don't like ebay...but I know some people make a lot of money with it...I guess I'll just have to list my items and see what kind of results I get!

Well this is the real problem and pain.I don't use ebay because I have no luck with buying and selling item but refund problems still make me headache in transaction with unknown people for services.
