How unbiased should you make your affiliate product reviews?
« on: August 07, 2014, 05:51:02 PM »
My best strategy for affiliate marketing is affiliate product reviews.  But, I worry that I am coming across as too eager in my reviews, wanting the person to buy the product as it will earn money for me.  However, if I like a product, then why should I not be able to express that?  I try to remain fair and if I have not tried out a product then I will simply say so.  I don't want to lie to my blog readers.  Still, I wonder how unbiased I should have to be with a review.  Isn't my goal to get them to click through and buy?

Yes, your goal is to get them to buy the product, but you want to make sure that you don't sound too eager. I mean you don't want them to think that you're lying about the product, because that's sometimes how I sound. So, talk about how awesome it is, but don't go too overboard.
