Using throwaway e-mails
« on: June 25, 2011, 11:44:55 PM »
I'm not too fond of e-mail marketing, but I'll do anything that works, well to some extent. Anyways, I used sites like mailcatch to send e-mails to people? Or even use them to sign up on forums and such? What do you guys think about these 1 time use e-mails?

They can be good in some cases I guess, but I wouldn't use them to market yourself. Why? Because it's not professional to use a throwaway e-mail.  And it kind of makes you look bad.

I don't know how well this kind of marketing really works. I mean yes, I'm sure that some people will click on it, but it won't be that many people. I would rather spend my time doing something else. Most of the time these emails go to spam and they don't see them.
